How matching works & source information
Search matches every word or number you enter across song names, features, source album/era, BPM, key, notes, validity and stems. Key and scale menus use only combinations listed in the source; markers such as * and ? remain visible in the original key. Filtering is by the listed key, not harmonic compatibility or keys inferred from notes.
Without a tempo search, sorting uses the lowest numeric tempo listed in each entry. Unknown tempos appear last in both directions. With a target or range, each listed tempo is tested at ½×, 1× and 2× (unless disabled). A single candidate must satisfy the range and target tolerance. Each entry appears once, showing its closest qualifying candidate to the target, or the lowest qualifying tempo without a target. Sort then uses that matching tempo. Clear tolerance to see all distances; 0 means exact matches. Minimum, maximum and tolerance are inclusive.
For multi-tempo tracks, any numeric section may match; read the notes before mixing. Approximate values and marked values participate without removing their source notation. Missing values, N/A, uncertainty markers and duplicate versions are retained. Album labels reproduce the source's album/era grouping, including features; they do not assert the feature's actual release album. Expand “Source details” on a song for validity, stems and section.
439 named source entries. BPM, key and notes text preserved from the supplied Eminem.html. Blank template rows and sheet headings are excluded. This index performs no independent tempo or key verification. The index works offline; opening stem links requires internet access.
Stem links and notes are imported from the supplied Stems.html. Expand “Stems” beside the original notes for each version and its links. Entries without an access link say “Not available”; supplied notes are retained. Version labels are preserved and may describe different production, edits or snippets: the original BPM and key are not verified for each stem version. Unmatched songs and collections are labelled Uncategorised, have no inferred BPM or key, and can be hidden with the checkbox. Tempo and key filters exclude them when their values are unknown.
